Illuminating Hadrian’s Wall
Below are some photographs I took, on March 13th, of the Illumination of Hadrian’s Wall.
Torches were brought in to create a line of light from one end of the coast to the other. “A spectacular illuminating event at Wallsend will ignite the first of approximately 500 points of light, placed at 250m intervals from Wallsend along the Newcastle Quayside and out into Hadrian’s Wall Country to Carlisle and Bowness-on-Solway.”
